The Toy Foundation™, the philanthropic arm of The Toy Association™, is proud to award $405,000 to 23 children’s hospitals and health systems to fund play projects that will help comfort pediatric patients during their medical journey. The funding will benefit more than 245,000 children in need, with a specific focus on hospitals that serve under-resourced communities nationwide, from coast to coast.
The Genius of Play™ is launching its “Play in Bloom” giveaway this spring, featuring playthings that introduce kids to new hobbies and help families find joy through creative, screen-free play as the new season comes into full bloom.
The Toy Foundation™ (TTF) Board of Trustees appointed Kathleen Campisano, global chief marketing officer & general manager of Beacon Media Group, as chair of the Foundation’s Board of Trustees, on February 28. Campisano, alongside newly appointed Vice Chair Michael Keaton and TTF’s Executive Director Pam Mastrota, will lead the Foundation in implementing aspects of The Toy Association’s three-year action plan to serve and unite members behind philanthropic initiatives that deliver the comfort of play to children when they need it most.

Proceeds from the awards program and event supports The Toy Foundation™ (TTF), the philanthropic arm of The Toy Association™, which delivers play to millions of children when they need it most.
Toy Fair® will unveil a world of play at the Javits Center in New York City, where creative toy companies — from startups to billion-dollar global brands — will showcase the latest toys, games, and youth entertainment products that kids and kids-at-heart will be clamoring for this year.
At the close of Toy Fair®, all exhibitors are encouraged to donate products — including toys, games, furniture, and more — to The Toy Foundation™ (TTF), the official charity of the show and philanthropic arm of The Toy Association™. As a turnkey opportunity for exhibitors to support children and families when they need it most, and to simplify moveout, TTF will collect donations of all sizes and products when the show ends on March 4.
