The Genius of Play’s Spring Giveaway Features 40+ Member Companies

gop-great-toybox-refresh-giveawayApril 3, 2023 | With spring in full bloom, The Genius of Play is encouraging families to refresh their toy collections and explore new screen-free play options through "The Great Toybox Refresh" campaign, which is showcasing toys and activities that promote classic play on The Genius of Play’s Facebook and Instagram channels. The giveaway launched this week and is running through June.

The campaign is spotlighting more than 40 Toy Association member companies in giveaways with posts that highlight how their playthings can inspire families to explore new hobbies, find creative outlets, and spark an interest in learning. For example, toys like Thames & Kosmos’ Telescope and E-Blox’s Build Your Own DJ Set encourage educational play; Steiff’s My First Hoppie Rabbit and Bear and LeapFrog’s My Pal Scout Smarty Paws are cuddly companions that ignite imaginations; and Spin Master’s Rubik’s Eco Cube and Ravensburger’s Puzzle & Play line help develop problem-solving and spatial reasoning skills.

Open exclusively to Toy Association members, the campaign is a free promotional opportunity allowing participants to tap into The Genius of Play’s social media audience of parents, caregivers, and educators and showcase the developmental and fun aspects of their products. Participation for this campaign has closed, but any members interested in future opportunities may contact The Toy Association’s Janis Zegman, senior marketing project manager.

Consumers can enter “The Great Toybox Refresh” giveaway by commenting on any of the giveaway posts, driving organic engagement with The Genius of Play and the featured companies. The Genius of Play is also promoting the campaign on its website and to its email subscribers.
