Member Opportunity: Feature Your Socially Conscious & Eco-Friendly Playthings in The Genius of Play’s Spring Campaign

February 24, 2022 | With families looking to be more eco and socially conscious in the products they purchase, The Genius of Play’s upcoming ‘Play for Good’ campaign will promote playthings that are sustainably produced, environmentally friendly, and focus on social justice issues. The promotional opportunity is free and open exclusively to Toy Association members.

Member companies are invited to submit products through this online form by Friday, March 11 for consideration.

“Today’s parents are on the hunt for toys that aren’t just fun but can also help instill important lessons on taking care of our planet and creating a more inclusive world for all,” said Anna Yudina, senior director of marketing initiatives at The Toy Association. “This exciting new campaign provides the perfect platform for our members to tap into The Genius of Play’s social media audience of parents, caregivers, and educators while also highlighting how their playthings can serve as excellent teaching tools on these topics.”

Throughout April and May, The Genius of Play will spotlight toys and games from member companies that focus on sustainability, diversity, and other social issues. Selected products will be featured across Genius of Play’s social media channels, engaging consumers in these important topics while also inviting them to enter for the chance to take the products home. Companies may also take advantage of The Genius Play’s assets on their own channels for promotions.

To reserve a spot in the campaign, members can complete the online form by Friday, March 11. Companies will be responsible for shipping products to winners. For more information, contact info@thegeniusofplay.org.
