#GeniusPlayHacks Social Media Campaign Features 27 Members’ Products
May 17, 2021 | From Hog Wild Toys and Magformers to The Learning Journey International and Waterline Toys, 27 Toy Association members participated in The Genius of Play’s successful #GeniusPlayHacks campaign this spring, providing thousands of families with inspiring toy and play ideas.
Held March 1 through April 28, the social media campaign garnered 288,775 impressions and 17,820 engagements with The Genius of Play posts featuring fun and inventive play ideas and products from members. Consumers were encouraged to share their own “play hacks” in the comments for a chance to win each post’s featured product. This opportunity was free and open to Toy Association members only.
“The #GeniusPlayHacks campaign successfully connected families with a variety of creative play ideas and products from our members,” said Anna Yudina, senior director of marketing initiatives at The Toy Association. “In addition to providing parents with the tools and ideas they need to make playtime fun and fresh for their kids, the campaign gave companies exposure in front of The Genius of Play’s monthly social media audience of more than 2.5 million people.”
