Toy Association’s Fall Marketplace to Welcome Global Audience

June 17, 2022 | Attendee registration for the 2023 Preview & Holiday Market, taking place September 20 to 22 in Dallas, Texas, opened a little over two weeks ago, and retailers from around the world are already signing up to take advantage of the show’s unique position as both a long-lead and Q4-focused event, that will also host the prestigious Toy of the Year (TOTY) Awards.

In addition to the show’s growing list of leading North American buyers that will be there to network and do business, including Walmart, Target, Amazon, Toys“R”Us Canada, Mastermind Toys, and others, the event is attracting international interest. Thus far, registered attendees represent 16 countries and counting. Excluding the U.S., Mexico, and Canada, countries represented at the show will include Australia, Argentina, Belgium, France, Italy, Senegal, Spain, the UK, and more.

“With COVID-19 protocols now lifted for entrance into the U.S., these numbers offer an early indication that this year’s toy show is gearing up to be a not-to-miss event for the global play community,” said Kimberly Carcone, senior vice president of global market events at The Toy Association. “We look forward to providing a meaningful event for all, where businesses can form critical connections, reach new audiences, celebrate our industry at the TOTY Awards, and set the stage for success in 2023!”

Once registered to exhibit, companies are invited to start filling their calendars with buyer meetings, book appointments with The Toy Association trends team, and take advantage of live and digital sponsorship opportunities to stand out during the event. Check the floorplan here for a sneak peek at the show’s exciting range of exhibitors.

In addition, The Preview & Holiday Market will offer companies the opportunity to put their ’22 holiday drivers front and center for media and buyers and celebrate the outstanding achievements of the industry during The Toy Foundation (TTF)’s Toy of the Year (TOTY) Awards & Opening Night Party. (The deadline to submit TOTY nominations is July 8, so don’t forget to nominate your toys, games, and properties.) Attendees can also take advantage of additional on-site events including Women in Toys’ Empowerment Day and TTF’s Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) program headlined by Hasbro, Jazwares, Paramount, and Target.

More details for companies looking to exhibit at the show can be found here. Attendees (including retailers, distributors, importers, wholesalers, sales representatives, and government employees) may register to attend free of charge.
