We believe in the healing power of play to comfort children where they need it most.

Play Fund is the only industry-wide funding initiative that distributes grants to children’s hospitals and disaster zones to comfort children where they need it most. Since 2021, Play Fund has comforted more than 500,000 children with the healing power of play.

Part of The Toy Association™, Play Fund is members’ opportunity to advance corporate social responsibility efforts by providing play opportunities in hospital settings and after disaster strikes.

Through the industry’s united support, we have helped supply playrooms, coping kits, and many other play-based activities nationwide and around the world.

Apply for a Grant

Children’s hospitals and health systems in the U.S. are invited to apply to a grant to support play-related projects and activities. The grant application for 2026 play projects is now closed. The application will reopen in October 2026 to submit 2027 play projects for consideration.

Disaster Relief Fund

Cash donations help us quickly support communities destroyed by natural disasters and conflicts. Product donations can also be made by submitting a product donation form.
