Recipe for Fun!

A Gratitude Jar is a powerful way to help your child focus on the GOOD things in their lives. Writing down individual things that they are happy about or thankful for helps them find the positive even when a day can be a tough one!

STEP 1: Get a large jar or can and have your child decorate it.

STEP 2: Place the jar in a visible open space (i.e., kitchen table, family room) with blank pieces of paper and a pencil next to it.

STEP 3: Designate a special time each day and ask your child (and everyone else in the family) to write down what they are grateful for.

STEP 4: Fold the paper and put it in the jar.

STEP 5: When your child needs a smile, tell them to reach into the jar and read a gratitude note šŸ˜Š
