‘Ready, Set, STEAM’ Giveaway from The Genius of Play™ Spotlights STEAM-Accredited Toys
October 9, 2023 | The Genius of Play™’s “Ready, Set, STEAM” giveaway, which featured 12 companies and 15 officially accredited STEAM toys, reached 59,000 consumers during the back-to-school shopping season. From a magnetic construction set from Connetix Tiles and a Battat game that teaches early math concepts, to a creative twist on an active toy from Victury Sports and many more, each product was featured on The Genius of Play’s Facebook and Instagram platforms. Fifteen winners each received one of the toys featured during the campaign.
Starting in August through the end of September, the social media campaign accumulated 3,624 total entries and 7,425 engagements, reaching 59,002 consumers with toys that have earned the official STEAM “stamp of approval” from The Toy Association™ and The Good Play Guide™. To enter the giveaway, consumers responded to tailored prompts within each post’s caption, driving organic engagement with The Genius of Play and the featured companies.
The campaign was a free promotional opportunity allowing participants in the STEAM Accreditation Program to tap into The Genius of Play’s social media audience of parents, caregivers, and educators and showcase the learning benefits and fun aspects of their products.
