Genius of Play Hosts First Ambassador Networking Hour

gop-networking-hourMarch 20, 2023 | Nearly 30 play professionals from North America, Europe, and Asia participated in The Genius of Play's first-ever networking hour last Thursday, March 16, successfully bringing together the initiative’s Play Ambassadors to share their knowledge and expertise from their respective fields related to play.

The meetup kicked off a series of virtual events that will continue to create opportunities for Genius of Play Ambassadors to collaborate.

“With the launch of our new Play Ambassador networking hour, we are bringing together play advocates from around the world to expand their connections, offer their expertise, and share creative ways to support The Genius of Play’s research to the benefit of the entire toy industry,” said Anna Yudina, senior director of marketing initiatives at The Toy Association. “As we continue to foster these valuable connections and facilitate the exchange of ideas, we are confident that our ambassador program will become even stronger and more effective in promoting the benefits of play to a wide audience of families and educators, providing our members with opportunities to stay ahead of the curve in this rapidly evolving industry.”

Genius of Play Ambassadors serve as thought leaders within their own professional networks as well as with families, educators, and other communities. Play Ambassadors put Genius of Play research, information, and tools into action; advocate for the benefits of play; and share their own passions and knowledge of play and toys with the industry.
